Representative Experience

  • The Firm has served as regional counsel to one of America’s largest duty free retail store operations on the Unites States / Canadian border.
  • The Firm has served as local legal counsel to one of North America’s largest owner/manager of commercial office buildings (including representing them in Minnesota’s largest asbestos litigation involving commercial property).
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to a Minnesota based commodity dealer with several international locations. The Firm acts as general counsel advising this client in all legal matters including licensing and compliance, corporate organization and governance, employment related matters regarding its over 100 employees nationwide, enforcement of its trademarks, real estate matters and general litigation matters nationwide. Mr. Larson, who is originally from North Dakota, also serves as lead personal attorney to the owners and founders of this corporate client representing them in real estate, estate planning, and other personal legal matters.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel (including performing legal services and advising on all legal aspects of franchise operations, trademark filings, and representation in litigation) to one of America’s top three instant printing franchisors, and other franchisors.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel for several years to Minnesota’s largest motor vehicle and commercial equipment leasing (fleet leasing) business; and also as general counsel to several car dealerships ranging from one unit or store to automobile dealerships and truck dealerships to among the largest in the State, and in numerous litigation proceedings, including breaches of contract, intra-dealership ownership disputes, employee termination, replevin, and repossession.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to several Manufacturers’ Representative organizations and their owners and employees, including in formation of and termination of Agency or Representation contracts, Employment contracts, commission sales persons disputes, and intra-business lawsuits and break ups.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to one of America’s leading specialty or custom paint manufacturers with business operations which are internationally known and sold. It performed legal services, including, but not limited to, matters involving environmental regulatory authorities and other regulatory challenges, real estate, and intellectual property, including litigation involving trademark infringement.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to two of Minnesota’s larger convenience store chains for years (with units in Minnesota and North Dakota). It has represented chains as general counsel in franchise litigation and registration; and in all types of land use litigation, environmental, and other matters.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to a Minnesota and California based general contractor and real estate company. As general counsel, it has advised this client in all legal matters including construction and real estate related litigation and provide litigation support for the client’s residential real estate branch, which owns and manages over 200 rental properties.
  • The Firm has served as a major counsel to one of the top three largest Minnesota home builders and residential developers for several years.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to one of the state’s largest and oldest personal health care assistance companies regarding all legal matters including employment matters, real estate matters, licensing and compliance, and all litigation and dispute resolution.
  • The Firm has served as main counsel to a North Dakota based non-profit corporation which was organized to support programs focused on health, wellness, and hydration nationwide. The Firm has acted as general counsel advising this client on a variety of legal matters including organization, governance, compliance, real estate, fundraising and banking and other matters nationwide to promote the foundation’s effectiveness and reach.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel for several years to Minnesota’s main business magazine.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel at one of the country’s largest Russian newspapers.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to Minnesota’s two main African American newspapers for several years and served as their attorney in litigation and potential matters regarding operation of these publications.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to and the Firm has represented mobile home sales dealership in litigation including breaches of contract, repossessions, collections, etc., for several years.
  • The Firm has served as general counsel to trade association of Minnesota Automotive and Truck dealerships, for a principal (one of the top three) major manufacturer.
